Bulgarreklama Agency in cooperation with WASSER BERLIN organised from 13th to 16th of April 2010 at Inter Expo Center – Sofia the fourth edition of the International Specialised Exhibition WATER SOFIA. Seminar on the French Experience in Public-Private Partnership in the Water Sector organized by the French Embassy to Bulgaria and Bulgarian Water Association was held in parallel with the exhibition on April 13 in
Vitosha Hall.

The WATER SOFIA 2010 exhibition is natural continuation of the good cooperation between Bulgarreklama Agency and MESSE BERLIN. It is also a response to the water supply and sewerage issues that our country is facing. 

WATER SOFIA 2010 became a field for effective presentation of more than 100 exhibitors and subexhibitors from 10 countries, which introduced the current trends in the branch.

Big Bulgarian and foreign companies playing a major role in the development of the water sector was gathered on one place.

The goal of WATER SOFIA 2010 was to present efficient technologies for water extraction, waste and potable waters treatment, water supply, for measuring, control and analyses. The fourth edition of the exhibition to attracted a strong interest to the participants and their exhibits in view of the importance of this issue for our country and the world as a whole. The rich attending programme during the exhibition days added to the diversity of the event.

The stands of 120 participants presenting the products of more than 380
exhibitors and subexhibitors from 29 countries - Bulgaria, Germany, Italy,
France, Poland, Austria, Turkey, Romania, The Netherlands, Russia,
Switzerland, USA, United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain and others - were arranged in the exhibition halls of Expoenergy, Bulcontrola and Water Sofia 2010. The new direct exhibitors in the specialised exhibitions were almost 25%.The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, the Ministry of Environment and Water and the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism were presented on separate stands.

NAMRB – Aktiv Ltd., commercial company owned by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, presented on its specialised stand advertising materials and current and future investment projects in the fields of water and energy. Business representatives had the opportunity to get current information on the competitive advantages and investment opportunities of the Bulgarian municipalities – one of the biggest investors of public resources.

In the frameworks of the exhibitions the Association I Love Water exposed pictures from the Sofia with Love of Water exhibition that was held in September, 2009 on the lovers’ bridge. The project was financed by Sofia Municipality and the pictures are provided by Roca Bulgaria.
The Association presented drawings from the contest for talented children held on the Day of Water in Sofia – March 22, 2010, in front of the National Theatre.

The successful realization of WATER SOFIA 2010 again has reflected the
usefulness of similar specialized event that supports the business
development in our country.
